First off, Tonya, I finally responded to the comment you left last week. I'm sorry it took a while.
Now, on to my links! (I'm pretending that the previous sentence actually deserved an exclamation point) I am a big fan of an illustrator named Christoph Niemann. Every time the New York Times e-publishes another edition of Abstract City, his comedic visual blog series, I know I'm in for a somewhat happier day.
This week he posted a piece about physics, which most of you know is somewhat of a hobby of mine. A few months ago he posted a piece about goblins in his house - which seems fitting this week. Anyway, you should stroll through his stuff. Either of the two links here will connect you to a much larger body of his work. If you have some time to kill, it's worth it. If I actually got paid (or at least had time) for being creative, many of my blog posts would resemble Niemann's work.
I happened across that Christoph Niemann piece earlier today by accident when I was clicking around on the NYT website. I thought "this is pretty cool. If I do another comment in the links thread I will include it".
ReplyDeleteI would say great minds think alike except we disagree about 50% of the time (according to Jason; I haven't kept track).
I enjoyed the "goblins in the house" piece. It seems so true.
